A global job portal where candidates search and apply for jobs free of charge, and employers receive and manage their applications directly.
The opportunity
People looking for work — at home and across borders — need one place to find current openings and apply without paying or jumping through hoops. Employers want applications to reach them directly, through the channel they choose, without a middleman. I set out to build a job portal that serves both sides, covering Pakistan and international roles.
What I did
- Founded Top Notch Spot and took it from an idea to a live job portal in 2026.
- Led product development: candidate profiles and CVs, employer and company portals, job posting, and job search with filters.
- Shaped how applications reach employers — straight to the employer, or to the destination set in each listing: a website link, an email address or a quick apply form.
- Built job alerts and search-friendly job pages with structured job data, so openings can be found through search engines.
- Put spam protection and rate limits on application forms, and an admin area to manage companies, listings and accounts.
